30th 2019 –Day 5
- As a class, we read the book “Je ne suis
pas un numero!”.
- In Mathematics, students learned explored
angles. Ask me about where are angles in my own environment! What is a 90 degree
angle? What symbol indicates degrees?
- Students pondered the questions: What is
static electricity? What are examples from our own lives? What are the
similarities and differences between magnetism and static electricity?
Homework: 20 minutes a day
Monday to
Thursday:

Students are taking home their Math test from
last week. Students are to review their answers, explain their strategies and
errors to a parent. Students are encouraged to redo and celebrate identifying
errors.

Students
are sharing their French oral speaking self-reflection from last week. Students
are asked to reflect upon their areas of success and their areas of growth.
What students need to bring to school on
Friday:
- Math
test
- French
Oral Language self-reflection along with areas of strengths, goals and
strategies to encourage participation.
