Monday, October 28th 2019 - Day 6

- In Mathematics, students completed a number talk. What is 5 x 12? Students then practiced the strategies of doubling and halving questions with a factor of 5. (Ex. 5 x 12 is equivalent to 6 x 10). 
Students then played an area and multiplication game. 
- In languages arts, students spoke and wrote about their weekends. 
- In Science, students worked on the following questions. Students are still discovering the differences and similarities between circuits in series and those in parallel. Students who are not done their diagrams have taken their art journals home.

Homework: 
- Reading in French for 20 minutes. Students have been working on identifying the problem of story, describing the main character and identifying the lesson or message of the story. Ask me about my book. 
- Finish unfinished schematic diagrams for science.
