Lundi, le 21 octobre 2019 - 2

- In ELA, students then completed and printed their rough copy.
- In FLA, students continued to practice speaking about their weekend with their peers and teacher. Students then wrote about their weekend. We are currently focusing on writing our verbs in past tense. Students will be editing their written work tomorrow.
- In Physical Education, students played "La guerre des queues". Students practiced taking leadership, making compromises and dividing into even and equal teams.
- In Mathematics, students completed a number talk. They thought about which two factors are easily multiplied to identify 36 as the product. Students then returned to the concepts of perimeter and area to solve a problem. Students worked on the following question:
Deux rectangles ont le même périmètre. L’aire de l’un des rectangles est beaucoup plus grande que l’aire de l’autre rectangle? Que sont les dimensions? (La longueur et la largeur )

Homework: 20 minutes daily
- Playing Tic-Tac-Toe Products using coins or objects (lego). Talk about patterns and strategies. Students are encouraged to refer to a multiplication table. This is suppose to be a fun game to review factors and products in a positive manner. Celebrate mistakes!
- Reading in French
- Bring library book back! We are going tomorrow to take out new books tomorrow.
