Thursday, October 3rd 2019 - 6
- In Mathematics, we played Beetle Blitz. We practiced our multiplication and estimation skills. We also had to decide if the answers were 33, 88 and 99, which player has the best advantage? Player one who can only multiply by 3 and subtract by 1 or Player two who can only multiply by 3 and add one.
- In Art, students painted their fish for the Stream of Dreams project. Ask me what the fish represents.
- In Science, we finished our lessons about static electricity. We read a short passage and practiced annotating our readings. We watched a short video and concluded by writing a paragraph about static electricity.

Homework: 20 minutes a day
Monday to Thursday:
-        Students are taking home their Math test from last week. Students are to review their answers, explain their strategies and errors to a parent. Students are encouraged to redo and celebrate identifying errors.
-       Students are sharing their French oral speaking self-reflection from last week. Students are asked to reflect upon their areas of success and their areas of growth.

What students need to bring to school on Friday:
-       Math test
-       French Oral Language self-reflection along with areas of strengths, goals and strategies to encourage participation.
     Students who are done early are encouraged to read. 
OCt. 4th - Crazy hair day
