Thursday, October 17th 2019 - Day 1 

- In Mathematics, students continued to explore and learn about perimeter and area.  Students then played a multiplication game to practice the strategy and identify the product.
- In Social Studies, students continued to research the natural resource in Canada. The research question today was "Pourquoi cette ressource naturelle est-elle important pour notre qualité de vie? (ei. L'économie, société, culture, environnement, climat).
- In Science, students continued to work on annotating their readings about open circuit, closed circuit, circuit in series. Students then collaborated with peers to build the different circuits. They then drew the circuits, reflected upon what they learned and observed and posed questions.

Homework: Reading for 20 minutes.

Scholastics due on Friday, October 25th 2019.

Students can wear their pjs tomorrow October 18th 2019 and may bring one small stuffy and will be enjoying 40 minutes of exploration of technology.

Volunteers required!
- Friday, October 18th from 8:50 to 11:00 to assist with the Student Vote.
- Thursday, October 24th is an all day event. Students will be learning about wind power. Volunteers are required from 8:50 to 11:25 and 12:20 to 2:30.
