Tuesday, January 7th 2020 - Day 1


- In Mathematics, students completed a number talk with division facts and focused on explaining two of their preferred strategies. Students also learned about data collection in Statistics and examined the difference between first hand data (donnee primaire) and second hand data (donnee secondaire). Ask me what question I created to collect first hand data.
- In FLA, we reviewed our work from yesterday, practiced our verbs in the past tense and then began to write a paragraph about their experiences over the winter break.
- Students participated in Physical Education, uploaded their Social Studies projects to Iris and created an account for Ideollo.

Homework:
- We will be attending the library on Thursday, January 9th 2019. Students are to identify two books they would like to take out of the library based on their research of the catalogue. https://ims.cbe.ab.ca/
