Monday, January 6th 2019 - 6

- We started the day by reviewing the steps of an oral discussion about our winter break. Students then played Bump to review specific vocabulary about the winter break and reviewing verbs in the past tense and first person. As a class, we reviewed how to identify the subject/pronoun of a sentence and the verbs conjugated in the past tense. Students then practiced with a peer and then independently.
- In Mathematics, we reviewed the process of a Number Talk with a subtraction questions. Students then practiced independently. Students reviewed their multiplication facts with a game. We concluded the day by reviewing how to identify a pattern in a t-chart and working on our shape challenge.
- In Science, we reviewed basic circuits. Then we tested holiday lights in a circuit and made decision on how to proceed with our projects.
