Thursday, November 28th 2019 - Day 5

- Students participated in Physical Education, Music and reading centers.
- In Mathematics, students identified 5 different parallelograms. Students identified that squares and rectangles can be classified as parallelograms since they have 2 pairs of parallel lines. Students then worked with a peer to classify quadrilaterals into different categories. (Quiz in Mathematics tomorrow)

Students sorted the quadrilaterals:
-  based on angles
- horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines
- lengths of sides
- set of parallel lines
- number of perpendicular corners
 - area

- In ELA, students collaborated with one another to classify the comprehension question answers of  based on levels of learning (1 to 4).
